The handicap indicates the level of a polo player. To calculate the handicap is considered the technique, the horses, the number of tournaments played, the performance in the team and in each tournament, among others.
The minimum handicap for a polo player is -2 goals and the maximum is 10 goals and, as each team has 4 players, the maximum handicap for a team is 40 goals. The handicap for a player is determined by the Polo Association of the country in which the player is registered.
