The idea of the Polo Horse Hall of Fame was born at the Rural Exhibition in Palermo to reward the best horses in the history of Polo.
Polo players are rated from 0 to 10 handicap according to their ability in competition. The level of a polo horse is measured by its qualities: speed, endurance and agility.
It was decided that the 10 handicap players would vote for the best polo horses. The vote was based on the best horses they had seen or played.
34 players of 10 handicaps participated. Thus, the “Great Exemplars that made Argentine Polo Great” were awarded and remembered.
